The gland sizes recommended are in accordance with calculations based on cables manufactured to BS6346 (1969) and we  cannot accept any responsibility for cables that prove to deviate materially from the nominal diameters quoted in BS6346 (1969)

Selection charts are intended as a guide. It is strongly recommended that the actual cable dimensions are checked against the Gland dimensions to ensure a correct selection. This is particularly important where seals are required.
